OH2 oncolytic virus inhibits non-small-cell lung cancer metastasis via β-catenin pathway suppression

Summary

Oncolytic virus OH2 effectively inhibits non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) metastasis. Researchers demonstrated that OH2 suppresses the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, a key driver of cancer cell migration and invasion. Specifically, OH2 infection downregulates β-catenin, a crucial protein in this pathway, ultimately reducing the metastatic potential of NSCLC cells. This finding suggests that OH2 virus treatment could be a promising therapeutic strategy for preventing and controlling the spread of NSCLC by targeting the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.
