1. Introduction to the research team:
Professor Yang Jian is a doctoral supervisor at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Shandong University. His main research area is the material interface chemistry of electrochemical energy storage. The research team has published many academic papers in well-known international journals such as Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci., ACS Nano/Nano Lett., Adv. Energy Mater./Adv. Funct. Mater., etc., with a total of 15,000+ citations and H=72. Many papers have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers by the Web of Science website. He has been awarded the New Century Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Education (2009), the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award (2010), the Distinguished Professor of “Qilu Young Scholars” of Shandong University (2011), the Outstanding Youth Fund of Shandong Province (2012), the Distinguished Professor of Taishan Scholars of Shandong Province (2015), the Special Allowance of the State Council (2018), the Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Scholar of Shandong University (2020), the Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholar (2021-23), and the Second Prize of Natural Science Award of Shandong Province (2023).

II. Recruitment positions and application conditions
1. Applicants should meet the basic application conditions for postdoctoral fellows of Shandong University; have or are about to obtain a doctoral degree.
2. Have a background in related fields such as electrochemical energy storage and theoretical calculation.
3. Applicants for postdoctoral positions are generally not more than 35 years old.
4. Have a strong sense of responsibility for work, be serious and down-to-earth, have independent scientific research ability, have a strong interest in scientific research, and have a spirit of teamwork.
III. Remuneration
1. Annual salary shall not be less than: 300,000 yuan (special funding)/200,000 yuan (key funding); if the college meets the funding conditions, the college will provide additional performance funding of 100,000 yuan/year; those selected by the Jinan campus will enjoy an additional funding of 60,000 yuan/year.
2. During the postdoctoral period, social insurance and housing provident fund shall be paid according to the same standards as in-service teachers, and the same books and scientific research resources as in-service teachers.
3. Provide excellent experimental and scientific research conditions and support the application of various postdoctoral funds and projects. The school implements international academic exchange projects to support in-station postdoctoral fellows to participate in international high-level academic activities.
4. Those who have excellent performance and are interested in continuing to develop in Shandong University can be employed as assistant researchers or associate researchers. Those who meet the conditions can apply for Shandong University Qilu Young Scholars and receive corresponding talent subsidies.
5. The school currently has four affiliated hospitals and many affiliated primary and secondary schools, which can provide high-quality medical care and basic education services for postdoctoral fellows who transfer to our school.
