The Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France (https://www.uphf.fr) is offering a junior professorship in Multiphase flow heat and mass transfer with phase change.

The proposed Chair is fully in line with the research strategy of the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France, structured around the 3 strategic hubs addressing major societal challenges in line with UN sustainable development objectives, the Horizon Europe program and the Research & Innovation Regional Strategy for Intelligent Specialization. Especially the hub “Industry of the future, Eco -responsible associated materials and processes” https://www.uphf.fr/en/research/research-uphf/research-strategy

The candidate will conduct research within the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 (Laboratory of industrial and human automation, mechanics, and computer science) https://www.uphf.fr/lamih with the research team of Prof. Souad Harmand, focusing on innovative thermal management for electrical systems.

The Junior Professor will be part of the mechanics & Energetics teaching staff at INSA Hauts-de-France https://www.insa-hautsdefrance.fr and will participate in the teaching of Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanics and Energetics (64 hours of teaching per year in English).
