🔬 OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
Southern University of Science and Technology’s Neuromorphic Perception and Computing Laboratory invites applications for doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows for 2026. The lab focuses on ionic information materials and devices, developing brain-inspired perception and computing hardware.
✅ RESEARCH AREAS
✅ Materials Chemistry: Electrochemistry, inorganic nanomaterials, ion-conducting polymers, gel materials, colloidal interface chemistry
✅ Device Fabrication: Bioelectronics/flexible electronics, micro-nanoelectronics, micro-nanofluidics, neuromorphic devices, wearable devices, smart sensors
✅ Biosignal Regulation and Neural Computing: Neuroengineering, cell/bioelectrophysiological regulation, neural computing
📋 REQUIREMENTS
Doctoral Candidates (Class of 2026):
✅ Background in biomedical engineering, chemistry, materials science, biology, or device processing
✅ Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from top universities or research institutions preferred
✅ Solid theoretical foundation and research training
✅ Optimistic, proactive attitude with strong thirst for knowledge
✅ English reading and writing skills (CET-6)
✅ Accumulated research experience
✅ High-quality publications preferred
Postdoctoral Fellows:
✅ PhD degree required
✅ Published SCI-indexed articles
✅ Strong technical English reading and writing skills
✅ Passion for research and commitment to research career
