The Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has junior postdoctoral positions available to conduct research aimed at understanding neural mechanisms of motivated behavior. We seek candidates with experience in areas of behavioral neuroscience, systems neuroscience, or computational neuroscience. The postdocs would be part of a multidisciplinary neural engineering and behavioral neuroscience team to study neural mechanisms of drug self-administration and relapse using miniscope imaging and other methods. The candidate should be self-motivated and is expected to work collaboratively. This opportunity is in Baltimore, MD.
