At our location in Dortmund, we invite applications for the Research Group Proteomics:
PhD Candidate (m/f/d)
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and performing proteome and phosphoproteome analyses as part of the DFG funded project: Identification and characterization of interferon γ-stimulated effector proteins and interferon γ-repressed dependency factors limiting cytomegalovirus replication
- Continuous development of existing methods and procedures for use in the joint project
- Evaluation, analysis, and visualization of data
- Documentation of laboratory work
- Collaboration with other project partners and regular presentation of results
Your profile:
- Masters, Diploma or equivalent degree in in a scientific field (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics) or related subject (i.e. Pharmacy, Food Technology)
- Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in the field of bioanalytics
- Preferably experience in phosphoproteomics
- Strong communication skills, organisational talent and a solution-oriented way of working
- Confident use of MS Office
- Willingness to travel on business
- Very good written and spoken English; German an advantage

The part-time position (65%) is offered for three years. The position is available immediately. The salary will be according to the German TV-L. The time limitation of the contract is based on the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG).
