Our research group is seeking PhD students to study energy materials and electrochemical systems, including lithium- and sodium-based batteries as well as solid-state batteries, starting in May 2026, August 2026, or January 2027.

Research Activities (focus on at least two of the following): – Conduct synthesis and characterization of electrode and electrolyte materials – Perform X-ray and microscopy-based studies using internal facilities and/or synchrotron-based user facilities – Investigate electrochemical performance and material properties – Develop and apply AI/ML tools for data analysis and predictive modeling
