Postdoctoral / Scientist Position in Synthetic Organic Chemistry An immediate position is available to hire a postdoctoral fellow or scientist in synthetic organic chemistry. The goal is to develop new drugs for the treatment of cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The fellow will be engaged in the synthesis of small organic molecules, refinement, and target prediction using AI, as well as testing these molecules in cell culture models. This position is full-time in the Baton Rouge / New Orleans Metropolitan Area. The fellow will conduct research, publish papers, collaborate with the research team, and participate in academic activities. Qualifications Ph.D. or MS with experience in organic chemistry Demonstrated research experience in the field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in molecular modeling and artificial intelligence techniques Knowledge of basic cell, spheroid, and organoid culture techniques Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Prior experience in academic or research settings is required.
