      PhD Position in Materials Synthesis for Electrochemical Applications Faculty of Chemistry, University of Lodz (Poland)

      The Faculty of Chemistry, University of Lodz invites applications for a PhD position in Materials Chemistry / Electrochemistry focused on the synthesis of functional materials and their application in electrochemical energy and sensing systems. The research will involve the design and synthesis of advanced materials and nanostructures for applications including electroanalysis, electrocatalysis (methanol oxidation, CO₂ reduction, water splitting), and supercapacitors. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative research environment with access to modern synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical facilities.

      Requirements: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field Good knowledge of materials synthesis, characterization techniques, and electrochemical methods Strong motivation for experimental research and scientific development Ability to work independently as well as in a team Candidates with novel ideas and their own research proposals are highly encouraged to apply.
