🧪 🧫 The Wright Lab has multiple openings for postdoctoral fellows with expertise in chemical biology and/or chemoproteomics, and one opening for a lab manager. Our group works at the interface of microbiome science and chemistry to characterize microbial biochemical mechanisms and develop novel therapeutic strategies for gut and oral health.
We welcome postdoctoral researchers with a Ph.D. in chemical biology, chemistry, or a relevant field who want to work on the development and application of chemical biology and chemoproteomics approaches to enable targeted pathogen killing by bacteriophage in the oral microbiome. We are also recruiting a lab manager at the M.S. or Ph.D. level.
The position will involve lab management, as well as collaborative research opportunities. Expertise in microbiology, organic chemistry, or mass spectrometry-based proteomics/metabolomics is all well-suited for the position.
