Are you interested in taking on a multi-disciplinary PhD position, developing new analytical method and using state-of-the-art instrumentation to explore the influence of diet on immune function?

If so, then this PhD opportunity co-supervised by myself and Zaeem Cader at The Francis Crick Institute could be just what you are looking for.

We are interested in learning more about the role of lipids (fats) in the progression of inflammatory bowel diseases, such as Crohn’s.

We will be using the very latest and highly sensitive mass spectrometry (MS) instrumentation to interrogate this in a level of detail not achievable before.
