I am looking for strong candidates for PhD and Postdoctoral Researcher positions to join us at the Emotionally Intelligent and Trustworthy Agents (EITA) Research Lab at the University of Waterloo.
Our research focuses on developing emotionally intelligent social robots as assistive technologies to support children and older adults, in areas of health and training. Ideal candidates should have a solid background in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Human Factors, along with strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, etc.) and knowledge of data analysis methods. If you are passionate about creating impactful technologies in these areas, I encourage you to apply.
