Atomic-scale Manufacturing Laboratory – Dang Chaoqun’s research group is recruiting postdoctoral fellows
1. Introduction to the research team
The atomic manufacturing laboratory is located in the Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center of Zhejiang University. Its main research directions are atomic manufacturing technology and equipment, including: diamond tool technology, atomic manufacturing technology research and development, manufacturing mechanism research, etc.
Dang Chaoqun, a researcher of the “Science and Technology Innovation Hundred Talents Program” of the Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center of Zhejiang University, a Qiushi Science and Technology Innovation Scholar, a doctoral supervisor, and an independent PI. His main research directions include the exploration of the global elastic behavior of covalent crystal materials at the micro-nano scale and their elastic strain engineering applications, the ultra-large plastic deformation mechanism dominated by twinning and dislocation movement of superhard metal materials at the nanoscale under in-situ transmission electron microscopy, and the study of atomic-level cutting mechanisms and methods. More than 20 papers have been published in journals such as Science and Nature Materials. He is currently in charge of the talent introduction project of the Science and Technology Innovation Hundred Talents Program, the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, and other projects. In 2022, he was selected as a top talent in Hangzhou and a Class B talent in Hangzhou. He has won honors such as “35 Science and Technology Innovation Under 35” in China by MIT Technology Review in 2022.
