Are you passionate about the molecular mechanisms of the Golgi apparatus? The Institute of Biochemistry at Kiel University (CAU) is looking for a dedicated PhD student to join Dr. Matthias Voss’s research group.
This DFG-funded project focuses on the regulation of SPPL3 activity and its role in cellular glycosylation—a key process linked to tumor immune evasion and other physiological functions. You will work with state-of-the-art tools including CRISPR genome editing, high-resolution imaging, and advanced proteomics.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Medicine, or a related field.
- Has strong hands-on experience in molecular and cell biology.
- Is eager to work in a stimulating, international scientific environment.
- Is fluent in English (C1 level).
