🔬 Postdoctoral Research Associate in Parasite Structural Biology at University of Oxford

      🦠 About Parasite Structural Biology

Parasite structural biology is a fascinating field that combines molecular biology, structural analysis, and immunology to understand how parasites like malaria and sleeping sickness organisms interact with human hosts at a molecular level. Researchers in this area reveal the three-dimensional structures of critical parasite proteins, uncovering the molecular tricks these ancient pathogens use to invade cells, evade immune responses, and replicate within our bodies. These insights are essential for designing improved therapeutics, vaccines, and monoclonal antibodies to combat devastating parasitic diseases that affect millions worldwide.
