This position focuses on the Building Integration of Solar Cells (BIPV), tackling the unique challenges of the Nordic climate—think snow, ice, and low solar radiation. You’ll be working to turn buildings into active power plants while ensuring they remain weather-resilient and durable.
Key Details:
- Focus: Experimental lab work and field studies on BIPV energy performance, durability, and “next-gen” robust solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SINTEF Community and major industrial partners.
- Salary: Approximately NOK 550,800 per annum.
- Location: The beautiful “tech capital” of Norway—Trondheim.

- A Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Building Science, or related fields.
- A strong academic record (B average or better).
