Final checks

  • Use reverse chronological order within each section.
  • Use a professional email address.
  • Add page numbers and your name to the header or footer.
  • Keep dates, headings, punctuation, and citation formatting consistent.
  • Quantify achievements when accurate.
  • Avoid photographs and personal details unless locally expected.
  • Do not include claims, publications, or skills you cannot verify.
  • Academic CVs may exceed two pages; relevance and organization matter more than an arbitrary page limit.
