PI Profile
Xiong Qingrong, professor of Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy College of Shandong University, national overseas high-level young talent. Mainly engaged in the research of multi-scale multi-field coupling theory and numerical simulation of porous materials, focusing on the stability and seepage of underground caverns, unconventional shale oil and gas, carbon capture and sequestration, geothermal and thermal energy storage, underground hydrogen storage and low-carbon energy, etc. direction. Relevant research results have been published in high-level academic journals such as Cement & Concrete Composites, Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology. Research funds are sufficient, and domestic and international cooperation is extensive.
Ma Lin, Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester (QS ranking top 30), is mainly engaged in the research of multi-scale and multi-dimensional characterization, 3D and 4D digital cores, multi-length coupling experiments, etc., focusing on unconventional shale oil and gas, carbon capture and Carbon sequestration, geothermal and thermal energy storage, underground hydrogen storage and low-carbon energy. Relevant research results have been published in high-level academic journals such as Energy & Environmental Sciences, Energy, Fuel, and the International Journal of Coal Geology. Advanced experimental instruments and extensive international cooperation.
Due to the need for scientific research and team development, the research group of Professor Xiong Qingrong from the School of Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy of Shandong University and the research group of Assistant Professor Ma Lin from the School of Engineering of the University of Manchester are now looking for 2-3 postdoctoral researchers at home and abroad. We welcome those who are interested in interdisciplinary research. Young scholars joined.
Research direction
1. Micro-scale fluid mechanics and interfacial transport (flow, diffusion and energy transfer);
2. Seepage in porous media and heat-fluid-solid coupling (unconventional energy, environment, human body);
3. Multi-component multi-phase in dense media transport mechanism.
Application conditions
1. Candidates should not be older than 35 years old and have obtained a doctorate degree from well-known domestic and foreign universities for no more than 3 years;
2. Have material, geotechnical/water conservancy, environment, chemistry, geology, chemical industry and other related disciplines or professional background;
3. Be honest and trustworthy, love scientific research, and have extensive scientific research interests; be serious and responsible for work, work hard, and have a good teamwork spirit ;
4. Have a good command of English and the ability to write research papers.
Responsibilities
1. Complete relevant scientific research projects;
2. Apply for postdoctoral funds and National Natural Science Youth Fund and other scientific research projects;
3. Assist in guiding undergraduate and graduate students.
Remuneration
1. In principle, the salary is not less than 180,000 yuan. On this basis, according to the relevant talent policies of Jinan City, you can apply for a postdoctoral subsidy of 5,000 yuan per month in Jinan City;
