You will join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering teaching, research and academic enterprise that contributes to the Business School, Faculty and University’s strategic ambitions.

The University of Wolverhampton holds a distinctive place within the higher education sector, and is one of the most successful modern universities, delivering excellence in teaching and research, widening access, and in business engagement. Having begun life nearly 190 years ago to enhance education and skill base of the workforce in what is today a major industrial conurbation, we have continued to fulfil and develop the role to meet the needs of the region we serve. Today as the ‘University of Opportunity’, the University of Wolverhampton is an integral part of economic growth and social change within the West Midlands and beyond.

The Business School is based in the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences and has a distinguished record of supporting people and organisations. We have extensive business networks and work collaboratively with a wide range of professional bodies and offer a portfolio of degree apprenticeship courses, a growing portfolio of TNE partners and we are developing new online courses.

You will be expected to assume a leadership role in the department, for example course and module leadership, as well as contributing to the delivery and development of the portfolio of modules and courses in the area of International Business at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Reporting to the Head of the Department of Business, the role will be based in Wolverhampton, but you will be expected to work with our regional learning centres in Stafford, Telford and Hereford as well as nationally and internationally.

You will have a good first degree or equivalent, a Masters degree in a relevant subject and experience of teaching, learning and assessment in the higher education sector. We have well established links with professional bodies, therefore membership and experience of working with relevant professional bodies would be an advantage.
