We are currently seeking a highly motivated, independent but team-oriented postdoctoral researcher with strong bioinformatics/genomics background.
The successful candidate will join the group of Prof. Manuel Aranda at the Red Sea Research Center of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Our group applies functional genomics techniques to study the molecular basis of the cnidarian-dinoflagellate symbiosis. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in bioinformatics or genomics and be highly familiar with the assembly, annotation, and analysis of NGS data with strong focus on the analysis of RNAseq and bisulfite genomic sequencing data.
