Responsibilities/Job Description

In our laboratory, we are researching the microenvironment of cancer, and among them, we are focusing on cancer-related fibroblasts. The research of Dr. Honjo and Dr. Allison, who received the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2018, can be said to be an attempt to activate T cells in a microscopic environment in a large framework. The microenvironment is surprisingly complex and unknown, and understanding and overcoming it is a very important field that is thought to be the final step in the conquest of cancer. This is a very important field, but it is also a very difficult field that requires a variety of genetically modified mouse models due to the nature of this field and systems biology such as single-cell RNA-seq and even ChIP-seq. We have almost all the resources for this in our laboratory, and there is no place in the world that only our laboratory is well equipped. We promise that we will provide all support for Postdoc applicants who apply to this laboratory to publish their papers in Top Journals in a short period of time.

Study on transcriptional network and metastasis mechanism in tumor stem cells

Malignant tumors are currently the most important cause of death, and many studies have been conducted so far, but the most fundamental problems are still not resolved. Above all, to understand the process of cancer formation, it is necessary to know how normal stem cells maintain the body’s homeostasis, and to understand the metastasis process of cancer, it is essential to understand the process of differentiation and morphogenesis of cells. These fields still remain uncharted territory and await many challenges.
