Overview: The Horae Gene Therapy Center (GTC) in the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) consists of investigators from several departments engaged in dynamic and collaborative research. The Gruntman lab works closely in collaboration with the Flotte/Keeler lab group and is currently seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate. We focus on gene therapy for respiratory disease with an emphasis on airway delivery, respiratory physiology, muscle delivery, and immune responses to Adeno-Associated Virus. We are looking for a motivated post-doc to participate in ongoing work in our respiratory physiology core as well as help spear-head work in a newly established COVID-19 animal model core. We are looking for someone with physiology (preferable respiratory) background with preference given to someone with animal model experience.
