Nankai University Professor Jiao’s research group is recruiting postdoctoral fellows (PEM water electrolysis direction)

1. Introduction to the Co-supervisor Jiao Lifang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Chemistry, Nankai University. She is a winner of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund and the chief scientist of the Hydrogen Energy Project of the National Key R&D Program. She won the First Prize of Tianjin Natural Science (the first completer) and the 18th China Young Women Scientist Award. She is the deputy editor-in-chief of Battery Energy, an editorial board member of eScience and Chinese Chem. Lett., deputy director of the Electrospinning Committee of the China Energy Association, and a director of the Tianjin Energy Storage Society. Her main research directions focus on the efficient storage and electrocatalytic conversion of energy, including hydrogen production by proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis, key electrode materials for high-energy sodium-ion batteries, development of high-energy electrolytes, and design of new solid electrolytes. She has published more than 320 SCI papers in journals such as Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Soc. Rev., Adv. Mater., ACS Catal., Adv. Energy Mater., etc., with a total citation of more than 21,500 times and an H-index of 78. Due to the development needs of the research group, we are recruiting 1-2 postdoctoral fellows in the field of PEM water electrolysis
for hydrogen production to join the research group. II. Application conditions 1. Research direction: Engage in basic research and device development of nanocatalysis and electrocatalytic materials in the field of PEM water electrolysis for hydrogen production and hydrogen energy. 2. Have a strong interest in scientific research, be proactive in work, be honest and reliable, have a rigorous academic style, strong innovation ability, outstanding achievements, and be good at teamwork. 3. Applicants should meet the basic application conditions for postdoctoral fellows in chemistry at Nankai University, as follows: (I) Postdoctoral A file (employment period of 2 years) 1.? Be an outstanding doctoral graduate or postdoctoral fellow (within 3 years of doctoral graduation) from well-known domestic and foreign universities, and in principle not exceed 32 years old in the year of application. 2.? Publish at least 3 research papers in top academic journals as the first author. (II) Postdoctoral Fellow B (2-year appointment) 1. Excellent doctoral graduates or postdoctoral fellows (within 3 years of doctoral graduation) from well-known domestic and foreign universities, and in principle no older than 35 years old in the year of application. 2. Publish at least 1 academic paper as the first author in a top academic journal; or publish at least 2 academic papers in an authoritative academic journal.
III. Benefits and Future Development 1. The annual salary of postdoctoral fellows in A-level is 332,000 yuan before tax; the annual salary of postdoctoral fellows in B-level is 182,000 yuan before tax. Those who are selected into the A/B/C level of the “National Postdoctoral Researcher Program” (A level is the original “Boxin Program”) can receive support from both the state and the school. According to the scientific research results, the research team will also provide additional scientific research rewards. 2.
