      Institute of Intelligent Communication Technologies, Shandong University

      The Institute of Intelligent Communication Technology (https://iict.sdu.edu.cn/) is an independent teaching and research entity located on SDU’s Central Campus in Jinan, China. The Institute focuses on next-generation information and communication technologies, intelligent wireless systems, and AI-enabled communication networks, and is committed to advancing fundamental research, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
       
      Open Positions
       

      1. Distinguished and Chair Professor
        Applicants should be internationally recognized scholars with a strong record of original and impactful research, demonstrated leadership in their field, and significant contributions to national or global scientific and technological development. The general age limit is 55, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
         
      2. Mid-Career and Young Faculty
        Candidates should have demonstrated strong academic potential and have produced high-impact research in frontier research areas aligned with national strategic priorities. The general age limit is 45.
         
      3. Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas, NSFC)
        Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas). The age limit is 40.
         
      4. Qilu Young Scholars (Shandong University)
        Applicants should conduct innovative research in key areas of 6G intelligent communications and demonstrate outstanding academic potential. The age limit is 36.
         
      5. Tenure-Track / Contract-Based Faculty
        Positions include Researcher, Associate Researcher (tenure-track), and Assistant Researcher (contract-based). Applicants must hold a PhD degree and meet the research and academic standards required for the position.
         
      6. Postdoctoral Researchers
        Applicants should have obtained (or be about to obtain) a PhD degree from a leading university or research institution within the past three years and be under 35 years of age. A minimum commitment of 21 months is required.
